- Parses the String and creates intervals, following values are allowed.
- min/max[/res]
- min1/max1[/res1],min2/max2[/res2],...
- Parameters:
intervals
- to create the interval(s) from.type
- to use
- Returns:
- a list of intervals or the empty list if the given string does not contain any wcs interval definitions.
